Rotary Youth Camp Video

This Rotary Youth Camp video is a compilation of experiences and testimonies from campers, their parents, guardians, Youth Camp staff and counselors. The underlying theme is that the Rotary Youth Camp is a place for disabled and disadvantaged children to come and feel “normal” for the short time they are here.

It’s a place where they can meet new friends, like themselves, away from any negative contact or comments that can be the harsh reality of their day to day world. It’s a place that creates a HOPE that burns in their hearts that someday, every day can be happy and normal for them.

If this was experienced by only one child our efforts would be worthwhile. But the fact is the Rotary Youth Camp provides this experience for thousands of children each year. It can only be done with your support.

So many special children were delighted with our camp. The kids can’t wait to come again next year. If you could just see the smiles on their faces when they are at our camp you would certainly help out! Give what you can but if you donate $1,000 you can become a K.C. Rotary Club Foundation Fellow. We will even make arrangements with a payment plan.

Call the Rotary office at 816/842-2322 and speak with Janet about this today!
