| It’s nearly time to elect the new leadership of Club 13 to take office in July 2009. There are two candidates for president-elect, two for secretary-treasurer and six candidates for three board seats. Ballots will be mailed out Nov. 24 (before Thanksgiving) and must be returned to the Rotary office by Dec. 11. All returned ballots are required to be signed on the backs of the envelopes. Announcement of the election results will take place at the Dec. 18 luncheon meeting. |

| Ford joined Club 13 in 1999 with the classification of Law-Business Practice. He is a partner with Armstrong Teasdale LLP. Ford served on our board of directors as a director in 2005 and as our treasurer in 2006. He has chaired the Downtown, History and Ecology committees and has served on the History, Ecology, Downtown, Invocation, Literacy Kansas City, Greeting/Meeting Arrangements, Scholarship committees. He has participated in Greater K C Day, Fireside, Camp workdays, Marathon volunteer, Salvation Army bellringer and Ecology Days. Ford serves on the board of directors for the Downtown Council, Friends of the Zoo, The Nature Conservancy. He also chairs Citizens Association of K.C., and a member ofChamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City. Ford is a Paul Harris Fellow. |
A partner with Allied Staffing, LLC, Ron joined Club 13 in 1979 holding the classification Employment Services. Ron served on our club’s board as a director in 2005-06. He has also chaired the Membership Development Committee and co-chaired Program and Laubach Literacy. He has served on the following committees: Education Excellence, Literacy Kansas City, Program and Urban Peace. His Rotary involvement includes Greater K C Day, Fireside and our annual blood drive. Ron is also president of the National Personnel Associates, Missouri Association of Staffing Companies, Kansas City Employment Association. He also is on the board of directors with BBB. Ron is a Paul Harris Fellow as well as a K.C.R.C. Foundation Fellow. |

| Karen is president and CEO of Harvesters - The Community Food Network and joined Rotary in 1998. She holds the classification of Association - Food Bank. Karen is currently serving on the Advancement and Charitable Giving Committee. She has served on our Publications and Fund Development committees. Karen is also active with the Women of Rotary and participated on the Rotary Trip to the Ukraine in 2003. She is also invloved with U.S. Bank Advisory Board, Central Exchange, Women in Non-Traditional Careers/ Johnson County Community College, National Advisory Council/Feeding America and Early Bird Toastmasters. |
Bill is a sales executive with Schifman, Remley and Associates. He joined Club 13 in 2003 with the classification of Insurance-Property and Casualty. Bill is co-chair of our Insurance Committee and has chaired the Spring Golf Event (200, 087), Bill Brown Warm Clothing Drive (2005-06-07) and Corporate Sponsorships Greater K C Day (2006-07, 08). He has also on served on Membership C&Q (2004-05), Downtown (2004) and Fall Golf Classic (2006-07), Insurance and Greater K C Day. Bill has been involved coordinating events for the Younger Rotarian affinity group and participated in the Club 13 Golf Tourney (2006-07) as well as bowling (2004-05). |

| A member of Club 13 since 1999, Lee holds the classification of Law-Business Disputes. He is an attorney/shareholder with Dysart Taylor Lay Cotter & McMonigle, P.C. Lee is current chair of our Greeting/Meeting Arrangements Committee. He has also served as a member of the Constitutional/Legal Affairs, Tyrotarian, Greater K.C. Day and Publications committees. He has also been involved with Stand of Colors and the Waddell & Reed Marathon Run. Lee is also president of Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City and chair of congregational board of Country Club Christian Church. Lee is also a Paul Harris Fellow. |
Dan is executive director of City Union Mission and joined Rotary in 1995. Dan’s classification is Associations-Gospel Mission. He is the current chair of the Invocation Committee, which he has chaired since 1997. He has also served as a member on the Greeting/Meeting Arrangements and Membership C & Q Committees. Dan is a Paul Harris Fellow. |
Charlie is a senior account executive with Lamar Advertising of Kansas City. He joined Club 13 in 2002 with the classification of Advertising-Out of Home. Charlie has chaired the Music Committee since 2006 and is a member on the Boy Scouts Committee. He was also involved with the Stand of Colors Committee. Charlie is the district commissioner for the Thunderbird District in the Heart of America Council of the Boy Scouts of America and is a cantor at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church. Charlie is a Paul Harris Fellow. |

| Mary Lou joined Club 13 in 2005 and holds the classification of Staffing Resources. She is CEO of Nash Resources Group. Mary Lou has served on the Downtown, Entertainment and Invocation committees. She was named Tyro of the Year in 2005-2006. Mary Lou has also been involved with the Kansas City Chamber, Downtown Council, Broadway-Westport, Parkway Towers Board, National Association of Women Business Owners, Women’s Business Enterprise and The Bohemian Gallery. Mary Lou is a K C Rotary Club Foundation Fellow. |
A member of Club 13 since 1999, David has the classification of Computers-Software Services. He is the president of KelCon Technologies, Inc. David has been a member on the Technology Committee since 1999 and has chaired this committee from 2001 to the present. He has designed and maintains our web page weekly as well as our online roster. He has also served as a member on the Boy Scouts, Camp Enterprise, Downtown and Stand of Colors committees. He has been a corner captain for Greater K. C. Day, webmaster for Rotary Business Directory, webmaster for Stand of Colors, delivered dictionaries for Dictionary Project, rung bells for Salvation Army and helped on Urban Scouting Day. David is a cub master for Cub Scout Pack 195 and assistant scout master for Troop 195 in Lee’s Summit. He is also a Kansas City Chiefs Red Coater. David is a Paul Harris Fellow. |
Janice joined Club 13 in 2004 and holds the classification of Finance-Investment Management. She is president of Newberry & Assoc.,LC. Janice served as chair of the Ecology Committee in 2007 and currently is the co-chair of that committee. She has participated in our work days at the Rotary Youth Camp and has also delivered dictionaries for the Dictionary Project. She is involved with Friends of Children's Place, Save, Inc., Friends of Chamber Music and Front Porch Alliance. Janice is a Paul Harris Fellow. |
