Club 13 2007 Election Results

 
Myron Sildon received the call to serve as president-elect in the Club 13 elections for 2007-2008. The president for the upcoming year will be Chuck Vogt, who was elected president-elect a year ago. Other election results are as follows: Doug Nelson was elected to serve as treasurer; Steve Corbin, Matt Meyer and Charlie Tryban were elected to the board of directors. Directors Peter Ho, Rusty Macy and Diane Scott will complete the second year of their terms. Congratulations to the new officers and direcors. Club 13 thanks ALL candidates for accepting the opportunities to run for office.

Myron joined Club 13 in 2000 with the classification of Law-Business Succession.

He is chairman of Sildon Law Group, P.C. Currently he is serving as a director of Club 13 and as a member on the Program, Downtown and Membership Development Committees.

Through the years Myron has served on the following committees: Business Mentoring, Fireside, Greeting, Long Range Planning, Membership Development, Mentoring, New Member Orientation and Tyrotarian. Other Rotary activities include Annual Golf Classic, Greater K.C. Day and supporter of our Rotary Business Directory. Myron is a Paul Harris Fellow.

Doug has been a member of Club 13 since 2001. Previously he was a Rotarian with the Baldwin City, KS Rotary Club for four years.

A financial planner for AIG VALIC, Doug holds the classification of Financial Consultant. Doug was named Committee Chair of the Year for his work as chair of the Education Excellence Committee in 2003-04. He continues to chair this committee and is a member of the Program Committee. His Rotary involvement includes Salvation Army bell ringing, Royal Round Up for Kids, Greater K. C. Golf Classic and Greater K. C. Day.

Doug is a Paul Harris Fellow as well as a K.C. R.C. Foundation Fellow.

Steve is an investment representative with Raymond James Financial Service. He joined Club 13 in 2001 with the classification of Investments-Small Business Retirement.

He served as the Rotary Bowling President in 2005-06. Currently he is on the Greater K.C. Day, Shoes for Orphan Souls and Tyrotarian Committees.

Steve is a Paul Harris Fellow.

 

Matt is CEO of the American Red Cross of Greater Kansas City. He joined Club 13 in 1997 with the classification of Association-American Red Cross.

He is currently chairman of the Greeting/Meeting Arrangements Committee and has served on the Nominating Committee and Spirit Festival Committee. Other Rotary activities include Greater K.C. Day, World Fest, Salvation Army bell ringing and Firesides.

He is on several boards in the community, a member of the Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer for his church. Matt is a Paul Harris Fellow.

 

Charlie is owner of DEC/TEC,INC. Charlie joined Club 13 in 2001 with the classfication of Manufacturer’s Representative-Power Generation.

He is currently serving as the Rotary Bowling President. Charlie has served as a corner captain for Greater K. C. Day and was a member of the Downtown Committee in 2004-2005.

Charlie is a Paul Harris Fellow.
